Hosts Kerala and Andhra Pradesh notch up a comfortable wins

The IndusInd Bank Nagesh trophy season 2019-20, moved down south where Kerala began their home leg at Kochi with a comfortable seven wicket victory over Jharkhand. The toss was won by the hosts in the presence of Sachin Baby, Captain of Kerala Ranji trophy cricket team. Jharkhand made a very sedate start and could never get out of second gear as the Kerala bowlers pegged them down to a very paltry score of 129 in their 20 overs. Brilliant bowling and fielding performance from the hosts was well on display.

Chasing a relatively small target the openers from Kerala took a cautious approach, this led to them losing a couple of wickets and scoring at just a run a ball until the halfway mark. Muhammed and Abdul Munaz then up the ante as they chased down the target with three overs and seven wickets to spare. The presentation ceremony was conducted in the presence of James Thankachan, Kerala Zone Head, Muthoot group.
