Ramesh, Ajay star in crushing 238-run win

After being put into bat, the Indians got off to a great start raking up a fifty partnership. They put on 82 for the first wicket, with Venkateshwara Rao scoring 53 runs, which was aided with a flurry of boundaries. He got out after giving India an impressive start, which has helped them to get a good start.  After an impressive start, the Indians have continued to score at their will, with Ramesh also notching up a half-century to add to the woes of the Jamaicans. Ramesh continued to add salt to the injury by notching up a ton in just 47 balls, which was studded with 18 fours. He had a very good partnership with the skipper Ajay Reddy, who played a vital cameo by scoring 29 runs and their partnership of 84 runs for the 4th wicket provided the perfect finish Indians would have vouched for.

Chasing an improbable total of 287, the Jamaicans had a terrible start losing Shim in the very first over snapped up by the Indian skipper Ajay Reddy. He made further inroads into the Jamaican line-up by removing Ricketts for nought as they had only a run to their total losing 2 wickets rather quickly. This has been a disastrous start for the Jamaicans as they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals to be precariously placed at 29/6 in the 7th over, with the skipper, Ajay Reddy adding up to his initial tally snaring up 3 wickets of them, to help Indian team to coast to an easy win. Their innings never looked like gaining the momentum as they kept losing wickets regularly to hand India an easy win in the first T20 match between these two sides. Only Graham top scored with 12, with others not able to cope with the disciplined attack of the Indians. They were shot for a paltry 48, winning by a whopping margin of 238 runs. Skipper Ajay ended up with 4 wickets, with Malik taking 2 wickets.
