All-round India complete clean sweep

 Jamaica elected to bat in the final match of the first-ever bilateral series between these two sides. They lost three quick wickets for just 17runs, with Malik snaring up 2 wickets. They showed some fight by adding 107 runs for the fifth wicket. For the first time in the series, they recovered brilliantly to post a competitive total of 147, with Stewart scoring an unbeaten 51.

Chasing 148 for a clean sweep, the Indian started off with a bang as it has been a regular affair in the series with stitching an unbeaten partnership of 149 runs, with Ramesh scoring an unbeaten ton of 101 runs. The Indians completed series a clean sweep, which was expected, but a clinical performance from them. This has been a commendable performance by the Indians and it shall go down as the first-ever bi-lateral win for them!
