Indian Blind Cricketers honored on World Youth Skills Day

2018 saw Indian Blind Cricket team participate in the World cup for the Blind and won the world Cup defeating Pakistan at UAE. The 3 outstanding players from Karnataka were Prakash Jayararamaiah, R. Sunil and Basappa Vadagola.

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day today, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka Dr. Ashwath Narayan and Shri. Dr. Narayana Gowda Honorable Minister of State for Youth empowerment and sports of Karnataka handed over cheques to the players as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement in Vikas Soudha, in the presence of Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Founder, Managing Trustee, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled.
